The Amazing Inspirograph

Remember Spirograph�the drawing toy that let you use rotating discs and templates to make geometric art? We sure do�but with a hint of sadness, because we could rarely keep the discs perfectly stable for a whole drawing. Now Nathan Friend has developed Inspirograph, which re-creates the experience digitally: it�s like Spirograph, with better control (and a whole color picker�s worth of ink colors). And it is a lot of fun. Play with Inspirograph (and don�t miss the gallery of others� creations!).

Turn Any YouTube Video Into A GIF

Want to turn something on YouTube into a GIF, but don't want to futz with downloading third-party apps or digging around for an online converter? Here's a handy trick: just add 'gif' to the beginning of the URL. 

For example, you'd turn: 
www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ 
into: www.gifyoutube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ.

Then set the GIF length in seconds using the slider and and hit enter. Here's an example I made. ( via: Techcrunch )
